IIS (deemed to be University), Jaipur Hosts 8th Rajasthan Science Congress in Association with Vaigyanik Drishtikon Society

Jaipur/20 October, 2021: IIS (deemed to be University) is hosting 8th Rajasthan Science Congress in Association with Vaigyanik Drishtikon Society from 20-22 October, 2021 at IIS School, Kshipra Path, Mansarovar, Jaipur. The Rajasthan Science Congress is mandated to communicate science and technology to masses, stimulate scientific & technology, coordinate and orchestrate such efforts throughout the country. The 8th Rajasthan Science Congress is a major focal point for Scientists, Researchers & Academicians in various aspects of science discoveries.

The three day mega event will witness the eminent scientists from all over India under the able guidance of Dr Ashok Gupta ,Chancellor, IIS deemed to be University. The theme “Science and Technology for Sustainable Development” is expected to deliberate upon some major issues and challenges related to Science and Technology. The 8th Rajasthan Science Congress was inaugurated by Ms. Mugdha Sinha, Secretary, Department of Science & Technology Rajasthan. She stated that science can play an important role in sustainability. She further opined that all of us have become citizens of cosmos today and we have to keep the flag of science always up. She wished success to the entire team. Dr. Sandeep Sancheti Provost (Vice Chancellor), Marwadi University, Rajkot graced the event as key note speaker.

The three day event will have 20 eminent speakers from the areas of Science & Technology with 100 participants. The focal point of this event is an exhibition on various themes like “Aatmanirbhar Bharat”, “Innovation & Research”, “Natural Resources”, where in working and project models will be exhibited & best project/working models will be awarded on the last day. The Three Day Science Congress will witness session on various themes such as Material and Applied Science, Life Science, Environmental Science, Chemical Science, Internet Science, Psychology, Economics and Science Communication.
